Greetings from Business Manager Jeffrey J. Loughlin

Welcome to the new and improved website of the International Union of Operating Engineers Local 137.

We represent and support the Operating Engineers in the counties of Westchester, Putnam and parts of Dutchess. The Operating Engineers operate and maintain heavy equipment such as cranes, loaders, backhoes, excavators, forklifts and bulldozers which help build the roads, bridges, tunnels, buildings and infrastructure that keep our great nation moving ahead.

Our new administration has made great strides since taking office in September 2013 and we pride ourselves on being dedicated to deliver professional representation to our membership. Each day, we are forging new relationships with employers and our objective is to deliver quality, efficiency and professionalism to our current signatory contractors which increases the opportunity to grow our membership.

In addition, we intend for this website to be useful to our membership, contractors looking for our service and those wishing to learn more about our organization.

Please review each tab to learn more about Local 137 and if you have any questions, please contact our new web manager at webmaster@iuoelocal137.com.

Thank you,

Jeffrey J. Loughlin
Business Manager
